Hand Stitching Attempt

Some of the feedback I received last week was to actually sew the red thread into the images that I had, rather than photograph it and photoshop it in. So I did some test runs, which was actually quite therapeutic. I tried a few different styles of stitch, and aimed to keep it quite loose to resemble a personal scrapbook, being handmade an imperfect. I also tried some smaller, more delicate stitches. I think these will really add character and interest to the book, so the next step is to disperse these amongst the pages that won’t have any string (so it is not too overwhelming) to give the book balance.
